We put her on her stomach for tummy time, and just as we were remarking that she hadn't rolled over yet, ROLL! She landed on her back and we cheered so loudly that we scared her and she burst into tears. She promptly repeated this three more times, each time crying afterward: I think it surprises her to be on her back (how did I get here when I was on my tummy?).
Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me... Anything can happen, child. Anything can be. - Shel Silverstein

this is how we roll
Today's big news: Maren rolls over!
