But no, we've been busy, most recently taking a trip to Austin to visit Katy's friend Liz. We had a great time, even though we brought the Seattle rain with us - so the hot Texas weather didn't show up quite as we thought (but, on the other hand, the people of Austin seemed very grateful for the rain). Maren got to visit 'the animals' every day (four horses, three dogs, and a cat); ride a train in the park; eat copious amounts of barbeque; see a baseball game; play in the bluebonnets; and get some cowgirl boots. Which she has, so far, refused to try on. But we'll get there.
