October always seems to be a terribly busy month, so we are already behind on posting and we're only a week into it! Big news, though: Maren has mastered three words of sign language. She's now able to tell us she wants "more," or, "milk," or "music" (there's a "M" theme going on). She is very proud of herself and always gives us a huge smile when using one of her signs.
She's also standing up more regularly and sturdily, and is still a big fan of helping load, unload, or otherwise supervise anything involving the dishwasher. We're trying to catch her on video with her new favorite toy, a small table full of fun buttons that play various bits of music. She hits a button, the song starts, and she dances - but every time we pull out the camera to catch her at it, she gets distracted by the camera and stops immediately. If we can perfect our guerrilla camera skills, we might be able to sneak a quick video.
